OPEN WATER SWIM RACE RESULTS
The four Barbados Open Water Festival races are chip timed (1.5K, 3.3K, 5K and 10K). There is a 1.5K Fun swim and this swim is not timed and swim aids are allowed. It's an excellent opportunity for those who don't want to race to still be a part of the Festival. All races are beach finishes!
Timing services are provided by a leader in global race timing - Sportstats - currently they time about 1300 races annually

Where are the swimmers from? Everywhere! Our swimmers over the past eight festivals have come from as far away as Hong Kong and Australia. We have welcomed swimmers from all over North America, South America, Central America, United Kingdom, Europe and of course across the Caribbean and local Barbadian swimmers.
All ages and abilities swim with us. Our swimmers ages have ranged from 5 years old to 89 years young!
Recreational swimmers, pool swimmers, lake swimmers, sea swimmers, channel swimmers, Triple Crown holders, Oceans Seven swimmer, Olympians and Olympic Medallists, World Champions, Junior World Champion, World Record holders, Masters Champions, Pan Am Medallists, junior champions, national team representatives, triathletes, water polo players....
